HOT MOMMA CORN TORTILLAS
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Cups Instant Masa Flour
- 1 1/3 Cups Water
- ¼ tsp Hot Momma Seasoning, mild or fiery
- ¼ tsp Salt
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, whisk flour and seasonings. Add 1 cup of water. Mix until a soft dough forms. If it feels dry, add more water, a Tbsp at a time. Divide dough into 16 equal sized balls. Cover balls with moistened kitchen towel. Line each side of tortilla press with plastic wrap. Place a ball in the center and press creating a 5-6” tortilla. Heat skillet on medium heat. Cook on each side for 50 seconds. Remove from heat and place on kitchen towel and fold towel over to keep tortillas warm and soft. When tortillas cool, store in a plastic bag and refrigerate (up to week) or freeze (up to 2 months). Ac-salsa-rize!
