HOT MOMMA PIZZA DOUGH
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ½ Cups Warm Water
- ¼ Cup Cup Canola Oil
- ¼ Cup Sugar
- 3 tsp Instant Yeast
- ¼ Cup Hot Momma Seasoning, mild or fiery
- 6 Cups AP Flour
- 2 tsp Sea Salt
DIRECTIONS
In a stand mixer bowl, combine the water, sugar, yeast, and Hot Momma Seasoning. Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes. Add in the canola oil. In a separate bowl, using sifter, combine the flour and salt. Turn the mixer on low and add the flour to the wet mixture a little at a time until the dough can be pulled away from the sides of the bowl with a spatula, but still a bit wet and sticky. Grease a large bowl big enough to hold the dough. Take the dough out and make a ball. Put the ball of dough into the greased bowl. Cover the bowl with a towel and place into the microwave (or anywhere it can stay warm and out of the way) until it doubles in size in about an hour. Roll the dough onto a floured surface and create a smooth ball. Cut the dough into 3 equal portions. Roll and stretch each portion on a pizza pan. Bake the pizza dough at 350* for 25-35 minutes. Bring out, add sauce, cheese, and toppings. Bake 30 minutes or until cheese has melted and slightly browned. Salsalenté!
